Who knew that a hurricane could wreak such havoc on so many states?! The gas situation is getting quite desperate here in Asheville. I had to wait for 1 1/2 hours to get gas tonight. I had to drive 20 minutes on E to get it too! I was so afraid I would run out of gas or the gas would be gone by time I got to the station. I definitely had called in advance and was told that, yes, there is gas, there is an hour wait, a limit of $40 bucks, and hopefully there would still be gas when I got to the pump. So, thank God, I made it, bought some gas and I have enough gas to get me through a couple of days.
We were told that this gas situation may last another five days!! This is the craziest thing I have ever seen in my adult life. Things are getting super scary. There were people actually running out waiting to get gas! It was nuts!
