A new year is on the way, I'm actually looking forward to a fresh start. I feel, and I have always felt, that a with a new year comes a clean slate, a fresh start, a new beginning. There's a sense of excitement that rushes through my mind and body as I begin to plan and think of all the possible good times ahead of us, Lord willing. I know that our fate is in God's hands but I believe that He wants us to live as if we will be here tomorrow. No man knows when his last day on this Earth will be, I thank God for that too! I surely don't want to know when my last day on this Earth will be. So, I'm thinking ahead to all of the adventures that are awaiting us....vacation, visiting family and friends, picnics, trips to Parkway, planting flowers in the Spring, birthdays, holidays, and so much more life to live.
Good bye old year, it was a great year looking back. We had some really good times with our family and friends. We had some sad times too. We lost loved ones, friends and beloved pets, my dear Snickers, that I still deeply miss. I had some really great times at three concerts, Robert Plant, and Michael Buble' twice, such a thrill!!! We were able to visit old friends that we hadn't seen in three years, we love them as if they were family, they are family. We visited my mom and sister and had so much fun together. I was able to connect with friends that I had not spoken to in a long time, so nice to hear from them. I am so thankful and blessed to have my son back home with us. He is such a wonderful young man with strong morals. I am proud of the man he has become. I love him so much. I am most thankful for my husband of 26 years. We are still in love, we enjoy each other, he's my best friend and my eternal love. I am thankful and blessed that my daughter was able to live with us for 9 months. It was wonderful having my girl around to do girly stuff with. I miss you, Tiff, but I know I had to let you go so you can have a life of your own. I pray you are happy, truly truly happy, I love you all so much and I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for all of the blessings this past year. I pray for joy, health, happiness, wealth, and peace in the New Year!
Happy New Year to all of my family and friends!! May we all be richly blessed by our Heavenly Father, In His precious son's name, amen. Here's to a new beginning......
